...Well here I am on Luzon near Manila. Got here last nite leave in the morn. Hope I have a big load of mail when I get back to Nadzab. We came up in three days a short hop per day.
Seeing a lot of the world. Add Hollandia & Peleliu to the list of places I've been. Well this ferrying isn't a bad deal I guess - beats laying around. Boy I have men scattered all the way from Nadzab. Two gunners there. Two on the way on a boat & my Bomb. Radio & Engineer are at another field. They gave me instructor Radio & Engineer for these trips. Have my Co-Pilot & Nav along. Quite diff from flying in the states.
I'm going to try to see Billy on my next trip up here...
