Dear Mama How is every one? Just fine I hope. I'm in very good condition.(I just wonder how many letters I've started off that way.)
You keep asking about Christmas packages. Well I don't know what to say. I don't think I'll be here by Christmas time. May be in another outfit over here. So might never get it if you send one. I don't need any thing to speak of. I don't know what I'll send you folks. Nothing I guess. But you have my check book. Just help yourself and buy Granny Butler, Aunt Sallie & a few more relatives some presents. I won't bother you about buying my gal anything. I don't know if I will or not. Oh yea she's sending me a picture one of these days. She's small & cute. (just 5' 7") ha. But any way she writes me about every day, that's more than I can say for any other gal.
Well its nice & cool here tonite. Guess I'll take in a movie tonite. I see one about every nite I'm not flying. Three meals a day & a movie is about all we have to look forward to.
Out of any thing to write about now. Oh yea Aunt Ruth is sending me two rolls of film. You just keep looking. Well I'll hush, just a line to let you I'm O.K.

Love Oscar
