Sept 29, 1945

...Got back here yesterday afternoon. Kinda glad to get back. This island hopping isn't too much fun. I haven't hurt myself yet tho. The food around these transient camps ain't the best.
Will probably be kept over here for a while don't know how long. They are sending guys home on points. Enlisted 70 & off. 75. My navigator has 75 with two children. Not very fair their way of counting points.
Say didn't I ever tell you that nothing came of the accident I had. They tried to give me the 104th article of War but it didn't go thru Bomber Command...
